10 / 06 / 2024

At the end of 1904, the Lleida pianist Pura Bergadà received a series of Japanese postcards that her aunt María sent her, with some inscriptions that probably responded to some game between them: "I love poetry", "you will have to sharpen your wits".. Other postcards in the collection, contemporary, show samurai in traditional dresses and various idyllic images of Japan.

The Japanese postcards that the pianist Pura Bergadà received can be seen in the ‘Ephemera’ showcase, which is located at the entrance to the permanent collection.
